Apple Pie - Polly Aunty

Ingredients:
6 apples (grated)
6 eggs
1/2 - 1 cup sugar
1 cup maida/all purpose flour
1 cup butter
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp baking powder
handful roasted cashews/almonds/dates

Steps:
  1. In a large deep bowl, add softened butter and sugar and stir well till the sugar dissolves. 
  2. Add eggs one at a time and mix.
  3. Add maida, cinnamon powder, baking powder and mix.
  4. Add apples, roasted cashews/walnuts/dates and mix well.
  5. Pour all the ingredients in to a cake pan and bake it in the oven for 45 minutes - first 15 minutes on high flame (around 210C/410F) and last 30 minutes on low flame around 150C/300F).
  6. Once it cools, cut in to slices.
