Ingredients:
500 gms carrot OR beetroot (grated broad or cut into tiny pieces)
1/2 cup urad dal
1 tsp hing
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 - 1 cup grated coconut
Steps:
500 gms carrot OR beetroot (grated broad or cut into tiny pieces)

Steps:
- In a vessel, heat oil.
- Add hing, urad dal, curry leaves, carrot/beetroot, grated coconut, turmeric, grated coconut and fry together till beetroot is cooked.
- Give it a good mix.
- ENJOY!
Variation: Add 1 tsp pepper powder or 1 tsp jeera powder when cooking.
