Ingredients:
750 gms - 1 kg fish
1 1/2 tbsp bafat powder
1/4 tbsp garam masala
1/2 tsp haldi
1/4 tbsp vinegar
salt
For the shindaap:
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 big onion (sliced)
1" ginger (chopped)
1/2 garlic pod (sliced)
2 green chillies (slit)
2 tbsp coconut milk powder
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps:
750 gms - 1 kg fish

For the shindaap:

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps:
- Clean the fish well and keep it aside.
- In a cooking vessel, heat oil.
- Add the green chillies, ginger, garlic and onions. Fry till onions are cooked.
- Add tomatoes and cook.
- Add bafat powder, garam masala, haldi, vinegar. Mix well.
- Add water according to desired consistency and bring to a boil.
- Add coconut milk powder and stir well.
- Add fish. Bring to a boil.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
