Fish Curry (no grinding masala) - Polly Aunty

Ingredients:
750 gms - 1 kg fish
1 1/2 tbsp bafat powder
1/4 tbsp garam masala
1/2 tsp haldi
1/4 tbsp vinegar
salt

For the shindaap:
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 big onion (sliced)
1" ginger (chopped)
1/2 garlic pod (sliced)
2 green chillies (slit)
2 tbsp coconut milk powder
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Steps:
  1. Clean the fish well and keep it aside.
  2. In a cooking vessel, heat oil. 
  3. Add the green chillies, ginger, garlic and onions. Fry till onions are cooked. 
  4. Add tomatoes and cook.
  5. Add bafat powder, garam masala, haldi, vinegar. Mix well.
  6. Add water according to desired consistency and bring to a boil.
  7. Add coconut milk powder and stir well.
  8. Add fish. Bring to a boil.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
