Fish Molee (no grinding) - Oreen

Ingredients:
For marination:
1 kg fish (salmon/eson)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt

For the curry:
2 onions (sliced)
2 green chillies (slit)
2 tsp pepper powder (in total)
4 tbsp coconut milk powder
1/4 tsp methi seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
3 " grated ginger (1.5" each time)
2 tomatoes (sliced)
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pepper powder

Steps:
  1. Wash and marinate the fish with chilli powder, turmeric, salt and keep aside.
  2. Fry onions, green chillies, turmeric, pepper, coconut milk powder, methi seeds, curry leaves and 1.5" grated ginger.
  3. Add the fish, tomatoes, 1.5" grated ginger, pepper and water. Cook covered on medium heat.
  4. Optional: Grate additional ginger on top before serving. 
  5. ENJOY!
Notes:
Optional: fry the fish and then add it to the curry.
