Galmbi (dry shrimp) Chutney - Daisy Aunty

Ingredients:
1 packet galmbi/ dry shrimp
2 onions (sliced)
10-15 curry leaves (cut into 2)
oil
1/2 - 3/4 coconut (grated)

To grind:
10 red byadgi chilli (roasted and crushed)
3-4 short round chillies (motwi mirsaang)
1 tsp jeera 
3 tbsp vinegar
1/4 tsp salt

Steps:
  1. Wash the galmbi and drain well. 
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add the galmbi and fry on low flame. Keep it aside. 
  3. Grind the red chillies, jeera with vinegar, salt and a little water to a fine paste and keep it ready. 
  4. In a pan, heat oil.
  5. Add onions and fry till golden. 
  6. Add curry leaves and fry.
  7. Add the ground masala with a little masala water and fry well.
  8. Add the fried galmbi and mix well. 
  9. Add grated coconut and mix well. Continue frying till the water evaporates.
