Ingredients:
400 gms goan pork sausages (lingis)
3 medium onions (chopped)
1 medium potato (small cubes)
1" ginger (chopped)
4-6 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tsp bafat powder
6 cloves
1" cinnamon
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
vinegar (optional)
Steps:

Remove the outer cover and then separate the sausages.
- In a non stick pan, heat oil.
- Add onions, ginger and garlic and fry till light brown.
- Add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves and fry for a minute.
- Add bafat powder and fry for a minute.
- Add sausages, mix well and cook covered on low flame stirring in between. If needed, add a little water to avoid it from getting burnt. (This dish is cooked without water in it's own fat)
- Add salt, vinegar and bafat powder if needed.
- When the meat is almost cooked, add potatoes and cook covered till done (don't overcook). Remove excess fat once cooked.
