3 medium onions (chopped)
1 medium potato (small cubes)
1" ginger (chopped)
4-6 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tsp bafat powder
6 cloves
1" cinnamon
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
vinegar (optional)

Steps:
  1. Remove the outer cover and then separate the sausages.

  2. In a non stick pan, heat oil.
  3. Add onions, ginger and garlic and fry till light brown.
  4. Add cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves and fry for a minute.
  5. Add bafat powder and fry for a minute.
  6. Add sausages, mix well and cook covered on low flame stirring in between. If needed, add a little water to avoid it from getting burnt. (This dish is cooked without water in it's own fat)
  7. Add salt, vinegar and bafat powder if needed.
  8. When the meat is almost cooked, add potatoes and cook covered till done (don't overcook). Remove excess fat once cooked.
