Ingredients:
200 gms thick poha (wash, strain and keep aside)
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp jeera seeds
1 medium onion (chopped finely)
1 green chilli (slit)
1 sprig curry leaves
1 potato (very small cubes)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
1 lime - juice
2 - 3 tbsp peanuts (roasted)
1 tbsp coriander leaves (garnish)
Steps:
Heat oil. Add mustard seeds and jeera. Once they crackle, add onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till onions turn translucent.
Add potatoes and sprinkle a little water and cover for 2 minutes on low flame till the potatoes cook.
Add poha and mix well.
Add turmeric powder and salt, mix well.
Sprinkle water, cover and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
Add lime juice and peanuts, mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
