Ingredients:
2 cups thin pov/poha/beaten rice
1/2 cup moong dal
1/2 cup jaggery
1 cup fresh grated coconut
3 cardamoms
1 tbsp ghee
10 cashews
pinch of salt (optional)
Steps:
2 cups thin pov/poha/beaten rice
1/2 cup moong dal
1/2 cup jaggery
1 cup fresh grated coconut

1 tbsp ghee

Steps:
- Dry roast the moong dal and powder coarsely.
- Powder the jaggery and add to freshly grated coconut.
- Add pov to moong dal and mix with jaggery and coconut.
- Add powdered cardamoms.
- Add a pinch of salt if desired.
- Heat ghee, fry cashews till golden brown.
- Mix in 1 tbsp hot ghee to the mixture of pov.
- Garnish with cashews and serve.
