Prawn Masala (dry) - Maizy Aunty

Ingredients:
1 kg big prawns
2 medium onions (sliced)
2 tbsp + 1 tsp mit mirsang
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
2 tbsp oil

Steps:
  1. Wash, clean, devein prawns and drain in a colander and keep aside.
  2. In a vessel, add the prawns with 1 tsp mit mirsang and 1/2 tsp salt and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame without adding water. Keep stirring.
  3. Separately, in non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and fry the sliced onions till translucent.
  4. Add 2 tbsp mit mirsang and fry well till the oil separates.
  5. Add prawns, mix well and keep it on low flame for about 15 minutes with lid covered. Keep checking. Add salt if needed.
  6. Add 1/2 tsp sugar and mix well.
  7. ENJOY!

Notes:
Adjust salt and mit mirsang according to your taste.
