Ingredients:
1 kg big prawns
2 medium onions (sliced)
2 tbsp + 1 tsp mit mirsang
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
2 tbsp oil

Adjust salt and mit mirsang according to your taste.

Steps:
- Wash, clean, devein prawns and drain in a colander and keep aside.
- In a vessel, add the prawns with 1 tsp mit mirsang and 1/2 tsp salt and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame without adding water. Keep stirring.
- Separately, in non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and fry the sliced onions till translucent.
- Add 2 tbsp mit mirsang and fry well till the oil separates.
- Add prawns, mix well and keep it on low flame for about 15 minutes with lid covered. Keep checking. Add salt if needed.
- Add 1/2 tsp sugar and mix well.
