Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup rava
1 big onion (sliced/chopped)
1/2" ginger (chopped)
3 tbsp urad dal
1 sprig curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
ghee
1 tsp salt
2 red chillies or 2 green chillies (optional)
grated coconut (optional)
grated ginger (optional)

Steps:
- Dry roast the rava and keep it aside.
- In a vessel, heat ghee. Add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add urad dal and curry leaves.
- Once urad dal becomes golden, add onions, chopped ginger and fry till onions become translucent.
- Add the roasted rava with 3 cups of hot water and salt. Stir well and cover the lid and cook for 2 - 3 minutes on medium flame.
- Garnish with grated ginger or coconut (optional).
- Serve with sugar sprinkled on top or on the side.
- ENJOY!
Notes:
Variation: Add 2-3tsp sugar when cooking.
