Ingredients:
1/2 kg dry fish mix (shark, mackerel, sole fish or any other)
1 tender mango (sliced)
1 potato (cubes)
To grind:
1 big onion
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tbsp coconut milk powder
1 small ball tamarind/ 1 tsp paste
1 tsp salt
For seasoning:
1 onion (sliced)
1 sprig curry leaves
Steps:

Steps:

Soak the fish in water for 8-10 hours or overnight. Throw the water out. Rinse again and keep the dry fish aside.

Grind the onion, turmeric, jeera, pepper, coriander seeds, coconut milk powder, tamarind and salt in to a fine paste and keep aside.
- In a vessel, heat oil.
- Add the sliced onion and curry leaves. Fry till golden brown.
- Add the ground masala and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Add dry fish, tender mango and potatoes and boil till potatoes are cooked.
