Cabbage Salad - Aunty Yvonne

Ingredients:
1 medium sized cabbage
salt to taste
vinegar to taste
sugar to taste
2 green chillies

For seasoning:
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 green chilli (slit or chopped)
1/2" ginger (finely chopped)
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp urad dal
oil 
Steps:
  1. Wash and cut the cabbage fine.

  2. In a bowl, mix a little salt, vinegar, sugar and green chillies.
  3. Add cabbage and marinate.
  4. Before serving, heat oil and fry the urad dal.
  5. Add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and onions and fry well.  
  6. Add it to the cabbage mixture and mix well. 
  7. ENJOY!
