Ingredients:
To boil
1/4 kg chicken mince
turmeric
salt
For the mixture:
1/2 cup onion (sliced)
1 potato (boiled)
1/2 cup green peas *(optional)
1 green chilli (finely shred)
1 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tsp red chilli powder (as per taste)
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
handful coriander leaves
rice powder or bread crumbs (for coating)
egg whites (for coating)
oil for shallow frying
Steps:
- Boil chicken mince with salt & turmeric, cook well and keep aside.
- Boil potatoes. Mash and keep aside.
- Boil green peas. Mash and keep aside.
- Heat oil. Add onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste and fry well.
- Turn down the flame, add red chilli & garam masala powders, coriander leaves and mix.
- Add the boiled chicken mince with other fried ingredients, add mashed potato, mashed green peas and give it a good mix.
- Make the cutlets, dip in egg white, bread crumbs & shallow fry.
