Prawns Chilli - Maizy Aunty

Ingredients:
1 kg prawns
2 medium potatoes (1/2 inch cubes)
2 medium onions (chopped)
1 green chilli (slit)
1/2" ginger (chopped)
2 small tomatoes (chopped)
1/4 cup coriander leaves (chopped)
1 flat tbsp bafat powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar (optional)
2 tbsp oil

Steps
  1. Wash, devein and clean the prawns and keep aside.

  2. In a vessel, heat oil. 
  3. Add the onions, ginger and green chilli and fry till onions become translucent.
  4. Add tomatoes and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add bafat powder. Mix well and fry.
  6. Add prawns and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add the potatoes and let it cook with the lid covered. (Avoid adding water)
  8. Add 3/4 tsp salt and mix well.
  9. Add sugar and coriander leaves and mix well.
  10. ENJOY!
Notes:
  • Adjust salt and spice according to your taste.
