Surnoli Dosa (Buttermilk Dosa) - Gladys Aunty

Ingredients:
2 cups raw rice
2 tbsp methi seeds
1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
1/2 cup jaggery
1/2 cup thick poha
2 cups buttermilk
salt

Steps:
  1. Soak raw rice and methi seeds in water for 4 hours.
  2. Soak the poha in water for about 5 minutes.
  3. Grind the rice, methi and poha together with salt and butter milk into a thick batter Do not add water while grinding
  4. Keep it on the countertop overnight in an airtight container to ferment. 
  5. The next day, heat a bit of oil in a pan. 
  6. Add the batter and fry like a dosa. 
  7. ENJOY!
