Chicken Pasta with Homemade White Sauce - Cellu

Ingredients:
300 gms pasta 
2 pcs chicken breast
2 onions (diced)
1 tsp garam masala
pinch of turmeric
1/4 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp organic vinegar
salt
oil

For the sauce:
3 tsp corn flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup warm water
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp thyme
1 tbsp oregano

Steps:
  1. Wash and cut the breast in cubes.
  2. Heat oil. Add onions and fry till brown. 
  3. Add chicken pieces and garam masala, turmeric, jeera, pepper powders, salt and vinegar. Add water and let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  4. In a vessel, add pasta and water with 1/2 a tsp oil and a pinch of salt. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes with the lid on. 
  5. In a cup, add 3-4 heaped tbsp corn flour, 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup warm water. Mix well and keep aside.
  6. In a kadai, heat butter and olive oil. Add basil, thyme, oregano and immediately mix the corn flour mixture and stir continuously till the sauce thickens and cooks (about 5 minutes) If needed, add hot milk. 
  7. Add white cream or cheese to the sauce (optional - I did not add) 
  8. Add the pasta and cooked chicken and mix well.
  9. Garnish with a twig of mint and sprinkle diced coriander leaves.
