Ingredients:
6 - 8 eggs
salt to taste
To grind:
3 large onions
1 long byadgi chillies
2 red short chillies
4-5 green chillies
1/2" ginger
2 cloves garlic
4 peppercorns
1/2 tsp haldi
3/4 tsp jeera
2 tsp khus khus
5 cloves
1/2" cinnamon
1 bunch coriander leaves
10 - 12 mint leaves
marble size tamarind
fresh coconut
For seasoning:
1 tomato (finely chopped)
1 onion (finely chopped)
3 potatoes
ghee
Steps:
- Boil the eggs, peel and make slits. Keep it aside.
- Grind the onions, red chillies, green chillies, ginger, garlic, peppercorns, turmeric, jeera, khus khus, cloves, cinnamon, coriander leaves, mint leaves, tamarind, coconut to a fine paste with a little water. Keep aside.
- Heat ghee. Fry the onion, tomato and potatoes well.
- Add the ground masala, salt and masala water from the mixie jar and bring to a boil.
- Add the eggs and bring to a boil again. Switch off the gas.
