Easy Beef Roast - Ivan uncle

Ingredients:
coconut oil (to fry)

To pressure cook:
1 kg beef (preferably an uncut chunk, boneless)
2 medium onions (sliced)
5 short red chillies (cut in half)
2 green chillies (slit)
1" ginger (crushed or chopped)
10 cloves garlic (crushed or chopped)
3 tsp pepper powder
tamarind or vinegar to taste
salt to taste

Steps:
  1. Wash the beef and drain it. 
  2. Poke the beef chunk with a fork or knife.
  3. In a pressure cooker, add the beef, onions, red chillies, ginger, garlic, pepper powder, salt, vinegar and water. Pressure cook till it is 80% done and turn off the gas, approximately 4-6 whistles depending on the meat. 

  4. Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and take out the beef and reserve the broth for soup.
  5. Cut the beef into thin slices. 

  6. Heat coconut oil in a large pan. 
  7. Add the beef slices and fry well on both sides on low flame. 
  8. ENJOY!
Notes:
Add coriander leaves to the broth and enjoy as a soup.
