Kubey (clams) Sukka - Daisy aunty

Ingredients
50 kubey/clams
10-12 garlic (crushed)
10 - 12 bay leaves (cut into small pieces)
1 tsp mustard seeds
6 tbsp bafat powder
2 lime size tamarind (soaked in water)
1/2 coconut (grated)
1/4 tsp salt 

Steps:
  1. In a vessel, heat oil. 
  2. Add crushed garlic and fry till golden. 
  3. Then add 2 bay leaves and  fry. 
  4. Add 1 tsp mustard seeds till they splutter. 
  5. Add the kubey with tamarind water, bafat powder and 1 1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil till the kubey opens. 
  6. Add the grated coconut and cook for 5 minutes and turn off the flame and keep covered. 
  7. ENJOY!
