Beef Croquettes - Chrysl

Ingredients:
1/2 kg beef mince
1 large onion (finely chopped)
10 cloves garlic
1" ginger
1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp mint leaves (chopped)
1/2 tsp salt
2 green chillies 
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp haldi
2 tsp soya sauce
2 tsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp vinegar
2 medium potatoes (boiled)
2 tbsp bread crumbs

For the coating
1/4 cup maida 
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 large egg (beaten) 

Steps:
  1. In a large pan, heat oil. 
  2. Add the onion, green chillies, ginger and garlic and fry till the raw smell is gone. 
  3. Add the mince and cook on high flame. 
  4. Now add the pepper, haldi, garam masala, soya sauce, vinegar, ketchup and salt. 
  5. Cook till the mince is cooked and all the water has dried up.
  6. Finally add the chopped mint and coriander leaves.

  7. Once the mixture has cooled, combine it with the mashed potatoes and bread crumbs, 
  8. Shape the mixture into croquettes or cutlets.
  9. Coat the croquettes with maida, followed by egg and finally with bread crumbs.
  10. Deep fry in oil till golden brown.
