Dry Beef Kerala Style - Marina

Ingredients:
500 gms beef (cut, washed and drained)
1 onion (sliced)
oil
small coconut pieces *(optional)

To marinate the beef:
1 onion (crushed or cut)
2" ginger (crushed or cut)
4 cloves garlic (crushed or cut)
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
1 sprig curry leaves
vinegar to taste
salt to taste

Steps:
  1. Mix all the ingredients together and marinate the beef for at least an hour.
  2. Pressure cook the beef till soft.

  3. In a pan, heat oil.
  4. Add the onion and fry till brown. Add a little water to caramelize the onion.
  5. Add to the pressure cooked beef, mix well and fry till brown.
  6. If desired, add coconut pieces.
  7. ENJOY!
