Ingredients:
1/2 kg okra
2 medium onions (finely chopped)
2 large tomatoes (chopped)
3 green chilies (chopped)
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
3/4 tsp garam masala powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp ghee
Steps:
- In a vessel, heat ghee.
- Add the onions and fry till golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes, 3-4 tbsp water and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well.
- Add the green chilies and let it cook for about a minute.
- Add the bhindi, 1/4 cup water and mix well. Cook covered for 5-7 minutes and turn off the gas.
