Paneer Makhani - Sheru

Ingredients:

250 gms paneer cubes
2 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder

1 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tomato (finely chopped)
1 tbsp kashmiri red chili powder
2 tbsp kasuri methi
1/4 cup cooking cream

To garnish
2 - 3 green chilis (optional)
handful coriander leaves 

Steps:

  1. In a pan, heat butter. 
  2. Add the paneer cubes and red chili powder and fry lightly for 2 minutes on medium-high heat. 

  3. In a handi, heat oil.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
  5. Add tomato, salt, red chili powder and fry till the tomatoes are cooked and mushy. 
  6. Add the fried paneer and mix well. 
  7. Add the crushed kasuri methi.
  8. Add the cooking cream, a little hot water and stir. Cook covered for 3 minutes. 
  9. Garnish with green chilis and coriander leaves. 
  10. ENJOY!
