Paneer Masala in Honey Tomato Gravy - Jean

Ingredients:
200 grams paneer (cubes)
1 tbsp ghee
1 large onion (finely sliced)
1" ginger (finely chopped)
8 small cloves garlic (finely chopped)
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
6 small tomatoes (made into a puree)
1 1/2 tbsp fresh cream
2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp coriander powder 
1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 1/2 tbsp honey
salt to taste
1 tbsp kasuri methi/dried fenugreek leaves

Steps:
  1. Wash the tomatoes and add them into a mixie jar to make a puree without adding any water. Keep aside. 

  2. Heat ghee in a nonstick vessel.
  3. Add the onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies and saute it until the onions turn lightly golden.
  4. Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, honey and cream. Mix well. 
  5. Add the paneer and mix lightly so the paneer is coated well. 
  6. Cover the lid and cook on simmer for about 5-6 minutes and turn off the flame. Before serving, stir in the kasuri methi.
