Ingredients
1 kg squid (wash and cut round)
2 large onions (chopped)
1" ginger
1-2 green chillies (chopped) *optional
7-8 cloves garlic (chopped)
4 cloves
1" cinnamon
1 lime size tamarind (soaked in water)
2-3 tbsp bafat powder
3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

salt
Steps:
- Pressure cook the squid with salt and water for 7-8 whistles till soft.
- In a vessel, heat oil. Add onions, ginger, green chillies, garlic, cinnamon, cloves and fry.
- Add tamarind water and mix well.
- Add the cooked squid, 1/2 cup water and cook till it reduces.
- Add coriander leaves, mix well and switch off the gas.
