Ingredients:
100 gms sago
200 gms vermicelli
10-15 cashew nuts (peeled & chopped)
10-15 almonds (peeled & chopped)
20-30 raisins
1 litre milk
1/4 - 1/2 tsp cardamom powder (adjust according to taste)
2 tbsp sugar (adjust according to taste)
1/4 tsp salt
ghee
Steps:
- Soak the sago for 6-8 hours.
- In a non-stick vessel, add the sago and water. Boil the sago till it is transparent (about 30 minutes)
- Boil the milk and keep ready.
- In a non-stick vessel, heat ghee.
- Add almonds and fry till golden.
- Add cashew nuts and fry till golden.
- Add raisins and fry till they puff up. Transfer all to a plate.
- In the same ghee, add the vermicelli and fry.
- Add the hot milk and let the vermicelli cook slightly.
- Add sago, cardamom powder, salt, sugar and fried nuts and bring to a boil.
- ENJOY!
