Garlic Bread - Ryan

Ingredients:
1 baguette
butter
garlic cloves as required
40 gms cheddar (If its Indian cheddar, it tends to be under seasoned. I found adding some salt tends to bring out the flavour better)
40 gms mozarella
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp oregano

Steps:

  1. Cut the baguette diagonally.
  2. Melt the butter for 30 seconds and spread it over the cut baguette.
  3. Mix the garlic powder, basil and oregano and spread the mixture over each of the cut baguettes.
  4. Mix the cheddar and mozzarella and add a bit of salt if required. Add the mixture on top of each. 
  5.  Preheat the oven to 200C for 20 minutes.
  6. Put the bread into the oven with the top grill on for 10 minutes or till the edges are crisp and the cheese browned to the desired level.
