Paneer Fry - Jean

Ingredients:
200 gms paneer cubes
1 tbsp dried mint/parsley/coriander leaves (garnish)
2 tbsp ghee

For the marinade:
1 tbsp ghee
2-3 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp turmeric
3/4 tsp red chili / bafat powder
1/4 tsp stew powder
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp corn starch
1 tbsp dried mint
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade with a little water to form a thick paste.
  2. Add the paneer cubes in to the bowl and coat well. Set aside, preferably for 15-20 minutes. 

  3. In a pan, heat ghee. 
  4. Add the paneer and fry till golden brown on one side.
  5. Flip the paneer and lightly fry on the other side. 
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves or dried mint. 
  7. ENJOY!
