Spinach Salad with Yogurt - Marina

Ingredients:

1 bunch palak/spinach leaves (washed)
1 tsp ghee
1 small onion (finely chopped)
pepper powder to taste
salt to taste
1 cup yogurt

Steps:

  1. In a vessel, bring about 1 cup water to a boil. 
  2. Add 1 bunch palak leaves. Cook for 5-7 minutes till rawness goes. Allow it cool, then roughly chop and keep aside.

  3. In a pan, heat ghee. 
  4. Add the chopped onion. Sauté until slightly pink-brown.
  5. Add the palak, pepper powder and salt. Mix well. 
  6. Add the yogurt and mix. 
  7. Serve cold. 
  8. ENJOY!
Notes:
  • Ghee is essential. Do not substitute it for oil.
