Steps:
Trifle pudding is simply a dessert prepared with goodies of your choice, arranged in layers. It is preferably prepared in a clear glass or plastic bowl so the layers and its appetizing colors can be seen through.- Crush biscuits of your choice at the base of the glass bowl.
- Add a layer of red jelly – let it set for a while. Refrigerate if needed.
- Arrange slices of Swiss roll all around as a layer.
- Add a layer of caramel custard – let it set for a while.
- Add a layer of nuts and dried fruits – if nuts or dried fruits too big, cut into smaller pieces.
- Add the layer of the second jelly.
- Add a layer of mixed fruits pieces – drain syrup completely if from a tin.
- Add a second caramel custard layer.
- Add the top layer with attractive colors of freshly cut fruit pieces of your choice.
- Squeeze whipped cream around the fruits to decorate.
- ENJOY!
- It is better to start with the Trifle Pudding one day before serving so each layer sets well. Decorations as in steps (9) and (10) above can be done just before serving.
- Any other decoration of your choice can be used such as edible fruits, edible flowers, sprinklers, cookies, twizzlers, butter cream frosting etc.
- Other top layer options after STEP 8:
- In one bowl, arrange halved tin peaches in syrup on top (minus the syrup) and halved strawberries, topping it with some whipped cream.
