Ingredients:
250gms peanuts
1/4 tsp salt
Steps:
- Roast the peanuts on a pan. Allow to cool.
- Place the peanuts in a cloth and rub the cloth to remove the skin.
- In a mixie jar/food processor, add the peanuts and salt. (You may need to do it in batches. )
- Grind till the texture changes from grainy to creamy butter. You will need to keep scraping down the peanuts from the side of the jar during the process.
- If you like a crunchy texture, add a few peanuts at the end and pulse a couple of times.
- Transfer to a glass container and top with roasted peanuts and store in the fridge.
- ENJOY!
Notes:
- If you like it sweet, add 2-3 tbsp honey when grinding.
- This takes a bit of time unless you have a very powerful food processor/grinder.
