Hazarvi Kabab - Marina

Ingredients:
1.5 kg boneless chicken breast
2 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp white pepper powder
salt to taste
butter for basting

For the marinade:
80 gms grated cheese (Kraft cheddar)
4 green chillies (chopped)
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
100 ml fresh cream
1 egg
1/4 tsp mace powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
salt

Steps:
  1. Cut chicken in to 2" cubes. 
  2. Apply ginger paste, garlic paste, white pepper powder and salt. Keep aside. 
  3. Separately, grate and mash the cheese to make it into a smooth paste.
  4. Add chillies, coriander leaves, mace powder, nutmeg powder and salt. Add the cheese. 
  5. Add egg and mix well. 
  6. Add the chicken to the cheese mixture. 
  7. Add fresh cream and carefully mix well till the chicken is well coated. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. 
  8. Put the chicken in skewers and cook in a moderately hot tandoor or in an oven preheated to 200C until it is just cooked or slightly colored.
  9. Apply the butter on the chicken and continue cooking till fully done.
