1.5 kg boneless chicken breast
2 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp white pepper powder
salt to taste
butter for basting
For the marinade:
80 gms grated cheese (Kraft cheddar)
4 green chillies (chopped)
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
100 ml fresh cream
1 egg
1/4 tsp mace powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
salt
Steps:
- Cut chicken in to 2" cubes.
- Apply ginger paste, garlic paste, white pepper powder and salt. Keep aside.
- Separately, grate and mash the cheese to make it into a smooth paste.
- Add chillies, coriander leaves, mace powder, nutmeg powder and salt. Add the cheese.
- Add egg and mix well.
- Add the chicken to the cheese mixture.
- Add fresh cream and carefully mix well till the chicken is well coated. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Put the chicken in skewers and cook in a moderately hot tandoor or in an oven preheated to 200C until it is just cooked or slightly colored.
- Apply the butter on the chicken and continue cooking till fully done.
