Ingredients:
400 gms lamb cubes
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 - 1 tsp red chili powder
1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
3-4 tbsp water
1 big onion (sliced)
200 gms cabbage
1 red pepper (sliced)
1 yellow pepper (sliced)
2" ginger (julienne)
5-6 small cloves garlic
4 green chili (chopped)
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
4-5 thinly sliced lemon wedges
2 tbsp ghee
Steps:
- In a large wide pan, heat ghee.
- Add the ginger, garlic and onions. Saute for 30 seconds till onions turn translucent.
- Add the cabbage and mix.
- Add the lamb cubes, red chili powder, pepper powder, soy sauce and salt. Mix well and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the sliced bell peppers and green chillies.
- Keep stirring & add a bit of water so the meat doesn't burn.
- Add 2-3 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well.
- Add thin lemon wedges. Cook till the meat is tender, stirring regularly.
