Lamb Stir Fry - Jean

Ingredients:
400 gms lamb cubes
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 - 1 tsp red chili powder
1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
3-4 tbsp water
1 big onion (sliced)
200 gms cabbage
1 red pepper (sliced)
1 yellow pepper (sliced)
2" ginger (julienne)
5-6 small cloves garlic
4 green chili (chopped)
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
4-5 thinly sliced lemon wedges
2 tbsp ghee

Steps:

  1. In a large wide pan, heat ghee.
  2. Add the ginger, garlic and onions. Saute for 30 seconds till onions turn translucent.  
  3. Add the cabbage and mix.
  4. Add the lamb cubes, red chili powder, pepper powder, soy sauce and salt. Mix well and cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the sliced bell peppers and green chillies. 
  6. Keep stirring & add a bit of water so the meat doesn't burn. 
  7. Add 2-3 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well. 
  8. Add thin lemon wedges. Cook till the meat is tender, stirring regularly.
