Ingredients:
500 gms frozen mixed veggies - carrots, cauliflower and broccoli (store bought or cut into tiny pieces)
1/4 cup urad dal

1/4 cup urad dal
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee
Steps:

1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee
Steps:
- In a vessel, heat ghee.
- Add the urad dal, turmeric, pepper powder and salt and saute till the urad dal is semi cooked and crunchy.
- Add the vegetables and fry for about 10 minutes on medium flame till the vegetables are cooked.
- ENJOY!
Notes:
- For ease, you can chop the vegetables into smaller pieces or rice them in a food processor.
- To make this dish as a Kerala-style thoran, add 1/4 - 1/2 cup grated coconut and 2-3 sprigs fried curry leaves.
