Spring Onions Pepper Fry/Miryapito - Rosy aunty

Ingredients:
300 gms spring onions 
1 medium or small onion (finely chopped)
4 garlic flakes (finely chopped)
small piece ginger (optional)
1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp oil 
salt to taste
pinch of sugar (optional)

Steps:
  1. Wash and drain the spring onions. Chop both the green and white part together.

  2. Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp of oil. 
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté well until light brown.
  4. Add turmeric and pepper powder. Sauté for a minute.
  5. Add chopped spring onions, mix well and cook covered on low flame.
  6. Add salt and vinegar. Mix and cook till there is no moisture or water left.
  7. Add a pinch of sugar (optional) mix well and switch off the gas.
