Whiskey Chicken - Jean

Ingredients:
1 kg boneless chicken 
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
oil
salt

To marinate:
1/2 cup whiskey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup chicken broth 
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp chili flakes
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp red chili powder

Steps:
  1. Cut the chicken in to 2" cubes. 

  2. In a large bowl, dissolve 1 Maggi chicken cube tablet in 1 cup of hot water. 
  3. Add whiskey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, ginger garlic paste, tomato paste, chili flakes, pepper powder. Mix well. 
  4. Add the chicken and marinate for 30 minutes. 

  5. In a vessel, heat oil. 
  6. Add the chicken with the marinade and cook uncovered till the gravy thickens and the chicken is fully cooked. 
  7. Add salt, if required. 
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions (optional)
  9. ENJOY!
