Chocolate Brownies - Athena

Ingredients:
140 grams chocolate (roughly chopped)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (cut into pieces)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs 
3/4 cup all purpose flour/maida
1/4 tsp salt
65 grams chocolate chips 
65 grams nuts

Steps:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Line the bottom and sides of an 8 inch" square baking pan with foil and rub butter on it. 
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and keep aside. 

  3. Place the chocolate and butter in a large bowl and melt in a microwave. 
  4. Combine well, then add cocoa powder and sugar. 
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix.
  6. Add the beaten eggs to the batter in three parts, combining well each time.
  7. Stir in the flour, salt, chocolate chips and nuts.
  8. Pour into the baking pan and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the center, it should come out mostly dry with a few moist crumbs. 
  10. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool, then cut in to desired size.
