Prawns Curry with Coconut - Sophiebai

Ingredients
1/2 kg prawns 
1 big onion (sliced)

To dry roast and then grind:
1 big onion
4 Kashmiri chilis
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp jeera seeds
1 tsp pepper corns
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp tamarind paste
4 tbsp coconut milk powder 

Steps:
  1. Dry roast the onion, Kashmiri chili, garlic, coriander, jeera, peppercorns separately. Grind till fine along with turmeric powder, tamarind paste and coconut milk powder.

  2. In a vessel, heat oil. 
  3. Add the sliced onion and fry till brown. 
  4. Add the ground masala and the masala water according to desired consistency (shouldn't be too thin) and bring to a boil. 
  5. Add prawns and salt. Bring to a boil. 
  6. ENJOY!
