Ingredients:
1/2 cup semolina
1 1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup cashews
3/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 cup ghee
1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar
1 drop yellow food coloring (optional)
Steps:
- In a pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee.
- Add the cashews and fry till golden. Transfer to a plate.
- Add the raisins and fry till plump. Transfer to a plate.
- Add the semolina and mix together till the ghee is absorbed.
- Add hot water, food coloring and keep stirring till the water is absorbed.
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Add cardamom powder and mix.
- Add cashew nuts and raisins. Mix well and switch off the flame.
