Galmbi Chutney (dried prawns chutney) - Rosybai

Ingredients:
1 cup dried prawns/galmbi
1 red onion (finely chopped)
1/2 lime - juice
2 cups grated coconut 

To grind:
1/2 red onion
8 byadgi chillies
1" ginger
1 marble size tamarind or 1/2 tsp tamarind paste 
1 tsp salt

Steps:
  1. Grind the red onion, dried chillies, ginger, tamarind and salt till it is coarse, just a few seconds. Keep it ready.  
  2. Dry roast 1 cup of dry galmbi until golden brown. 
  3. Transfer the ground masala to a large bowl.
  4. Add juice of half a small fresh lime.
  5. Add the chopped onion and mix it with the masala. 
  6. Add the galmbi and check for salt, adjust if needed.
  7. Lastly, add grated coconut and mix it well.
