Chicken Curry (No grinding) - Jean

Ingredients:
1 kg chicken 
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 large onion (or 2 medium)
1 large tomato
2 medium potatoes 
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp cumin powder
1 tsp kashmiri chili powder 
2 tbsp curry powder
4-5 tbsp coconut milk powder 
1 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp vinegar
Handful of chopped coriander leaves

Steps
  1. In a vessel, heat ghee
  2. Add cumin seeds, when it splutters, add sliced onions and ginger garlic paste. Fry on medium till onions are light brown.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and potatoes and cook covered for 5 minutes. 
  4. Add the spice powders and coconut milk powder. Mix well. 
  5. Add the chicken, salt and vinegar. Cook covered without adding water for 10 minutes.
  6. Add 1/2 -1 cup hot water and cook covered till chicken is fully cooked. 
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
