Ingredients:
1 kg chicken
1 large garlic clove (minced, or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground cardamon
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper (reduce to 1/2 tsp to make it not spicy, or hot chili powder)
2 tsp smoked paprika (or Kashmiri chili powder)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp olive oil
Steps:
- Mix all the ingredients together and marinate for 6 hours minimum.
- Grill on high heat to get crispy char lines for 25 - 30 minutes. Lightly spray with a good cooking oil to increase char. Alternatively, pan fry on bake in an oven at 400F.
- Slice the chicken and place it in pita bread with garlic sauce, slices of tomato and lettuce.
