Recipe by Victor Rodrigues
Ingredients:
500gms goat
50 ml olive oil
2 onions (chopped)
2-3 tomatoes (chopped)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp chilli Powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder/haldi
½ tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp kasuri methi / dried fenugreek leaves
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps:
- Heat olive oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and fry lightly.
- Add ginger and garlic paste. Fry until the raw smell goes away.
- Add tomatoes and fry until the oil separates.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add meat and stir in. DO NOT ADD EXTRA WATER.
- Pressure cook on medium heat for 45 minutes.
- Add garam masala powder, kasuri methi (optional) and coriander leaves.
- ENJOY!
Notes:
- You can add potato cubes to the dish, if desired.
