Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 kg lamb
l2 black cardamom pods
1 tsp peppercorns
1" cinnamon
5 cloves
1 onion (sliced)
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper powder
lemon juice to taste
1.5 litres water
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps:
- In a vessel, heat oil.
- Add black cardamom, cloves and peppercorns and lightly fry.
- Add onions, fry until it turns golden.
- Add ginger and garlic paste. Fry till the raw smell goes.
- Add mutton pieces, salt, pepper powder, lemon juice and water. Boil covered for 1 hour. Adjust salt and lemon juice to taste.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
