Ingredients:
1 kg beef (cut in cubes)
2-3 tbsp coconut milk powder
1-2 cups of water (adjust according to desired consistency)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp pepper powder
For the Masala base
1 big onion (sliced)
1 big tomato (sliced)
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric powder
Handful of curry leaves
2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 to 1 tbsp tamarind paste
1 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp coconut oil
Steps:
- In a pressure cooker, heat ghee.
- Add all the ingredients for the masala base and fry well until it turns brown and mushy.
- Add coconut milk powder, beef chunks, pepper powder and salt. Mix well. Then add 1-2 cups of water based on your desired consistency. Pressure cook on high heat for 15 minutes till the meat is soft.

Notes:
- You can add potato cubes while pressure cooking.
