Ingredients:
To boil the mutton
1 kg mutton
1 tsp salt

1 tbsp vinegar

Mutton stock after pressure cooking
Steps:

To grind for the masala base

2 large onions
2 tbsp bafat powder
1/2 tbsp jeera powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1-2 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp bafat powder
1/2 tbsp jeera powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1-2 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee
Mutton stock after pressure cooking
Steps:
- Pressure cook the mutton with salt, vinegar and cinnamon sticks till the mutton is soft, about 6-8 whistles.
- Transfer the stock to a mixie jar.
- Meanwhile, in a pan, heat ghee.
- Add the onions with bafat powder, jeera powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, vinegar and salt. Fry well till the onions are cooked.
- Once it cools, transfer to the mixie jar with the mutton stock and blend well.
- Add the ground masala to the cooked mutton and bring to a boil.
